Management involves history taking,examination,investigations such as Fasting blood sugar(FBS),2hours post prandial glucose,glycaesylated haemoglobin(HBA1C).

Treatment includes lifestyle modification such as eating healthy diets and reducing carbohydrate rich foods,regular exercise and drugs.

Complications of Diabetics mellitus include neuropathy,nephropathy,numbness,cardiac disease,stroke,lack of wound healing,Diabetic retinopathy,erectile dysfunction,Gastroparesis ,hearing loss,Depression.
